  • GRANDMASTER HEE IL CHO SEMINAR - SEPTEMBER 22ND SCOTLAND

    Grandmaster Hee Il Cho will be conducting an International Seminar for all of AIMAA in the UK, as well as other martial artist who wish to attend.

    As of the 15th of June the seminar has only a few remianing tickets left.

  • A.I.M.A.A.SCOTLAND FITNESS & CURRICULM CLASS

    This 2 hour class covers 1 hour of fitness training and the 2nd hour covers all of the A.I.M.A.A Handbook and much more!

    Experience in-depth training with an A.I.M.A.A Master, in a class aimed at all levels of students, from white belt to Black belt. Master Kirkwood will help you further develop your skills.

    This class is open to all grades and to all A.I.M.A.A Scotland Students. Don't miss out in learning from the best in Scotland, and ensuring that your skills in the A.I.M.A.A Curriculum are exemplary.

    This is your chance to ensure you are skilled in everything you need to know for your future testing, in patterns, one-step, theory, line work and so on. So come along and join in, you have nothing to lose, but everything to gain.

    All Classes within Blantyre Sports Centre.

    EVERY SUNDAY 10 am until 12 noon

  • A.I.M.A.A SCOTLAND SQUAD TRAINING & FIGHT CLUB

    Do you want to compete at National & International level and be a winner!

    Then come along and train with the National Squad every week in Blantyre. The training will develop and strengthen your core muscle group and build stamina to eliminate fatigue while sparring.

    We will rigorously put you through time and tested training techniques to improve your skills in point and continuous sparring, but best of all you will be helped to eliminate your weaknesses and emphasise your best skills.

    The class is a 2 hour full body workout with individual exercises and team exercises and is open to all students and parents within the AIMAA Scotland.

    Our National Team travels extensively to events within the UK and Europe, and there is nothing stopping students and Instructors joining the squad.

    So what are you waiting for? Come along you have nothing to lose, but everything to gain!

    You will be personally trained by Master John Kirkwood who has won over 300 titles in the 30+ years within the World and Internationalist tournament cicuit. Mr John Kirkwood Jnr, also coaches and has over 19 years experience in the competition circuit winning over 300 titles in this time.

    Class Times every Thursday 7pm until 9pm

      Sir how are you and your family? Everyone here is great thank god. Two years ago today myself and Emma were on the beach in Hawaii getting married!!
      My camps are going ok, not great, but I am getting a turnout for each one. There is alot of work involved in them. I am training hard for the grading and seminars in september I cant wait!

      Sir it is me that should be thanking you first for taking time out to come over to Ireland to promote the AIMAA once again. It is no problem about the teams and not your fault anyway but as you say there is always next year.
      Yes AIMAA done very well at the competition and I think everyone really enjoyer the day.
      It is a pity you cannot attend Jersey, your imput and classes will be missed there sir. I hope you all had a relaxing day on Sunday and sorry about the mix up when you landed.

      Hello Master Kirkwood,

      Sir, I want to thank you for running that great competition, it was such an enjoyable event and weekend for everyone. The time and hard work you and Mrs. Kirkwood put into the organisation of the Nationals was clear for all to see.
      Also thank you for spending so much time with me personally both in and outside of the Do-Jang, I was privileged to be given that time.
      A big thank you then must go to all the A.I.M.A.A. Scotland Instructors and students who all played their own part in helping out on the day, you all have great spirit and a wonderful leader in Master Kirkwood.
