- Sussex born Mark Gleave grew up with a love of pop music and decided from an early age that he would one day write and sing his own songs. Although he learned to play the recorder at school, he never took playing musical instruments any further as he wanted to focus entirely on the idea of using just his creative ability to compose songs. It took several years of writing lyrics, working out melodies and structuring verses and choruses but he eventually took the ideas to a studio and gained confidence in singing and recording vocals. Mark's self titled debut album reveals a love of dance pop and 80s disco with the occasional emotional ballad added to the mix.
