Well, it's been a rollercoaster couple of months. The house still hasn't had anything done to it, I've done curtains, and bed dressing but that's about it. My dog had to be put down last week 'cause he was killing my neighbour's lambs (found wool in his shit). I tell you it was the saddest thing I've ever done in my life. I made him a commemorative garden so that we can always talk to him, it's got a feijoa tree and 6 strawberry plants. It's a nice garden with rocks around it.
I went up north a month ago 'cause my sister was in a car accident in Ngaruawahia. I was stressed out when I found out in a TEXT from NANA (not my mother!!). Nan couldn't tell me much so I got on the next plane out of Invercargill and flew to Auckland then went down to Hamilton and spent a couple of days with my sister. She suffered Two fractures in her pelvis and cracked ribs. From what I've heard she's lucky to be alive 'cause there's like no seat missing. I'm so pleased she's alright, she's walking now, so she's on the mend.
Sold my car on Friday (Yes, the V8 Wagon I've been going on about) and due to increasing petrol prices have had to get a Toyota Corolla. LOL. It's a good little car though, I'm not complaining. We've still got the LTD that we got from Oto a couple of months ago in the shed so that's all good.
Kids are good. The boys got a quad bike each, now our paddock is quickly turning into a racing track. Got rid of a cow yesterday and will kill the steer shortly. If anyone wants a Kunekune boar, let me know, I'm selling a purebred breeding boar for $80.
Anyway, that's all for now, hope you're all well, keep smiling and when the sun's not shining, keep your chin up.
Marce
PS: the dress I spewed all over in February at the wedding is like brand new, I'd soaked it in vinegar and left it at dads. Got to dads and there it was, brand new looking even!!!

Well, where do I start. It's been a busy couple of months. We were supposed to have been to Australia by now, but it turns out Jases Mum and Dad want to come over for Two months in November. That's cool, I'm excited as cause they're really cool. We've booked the builder for the work on our house. That all starts when our permit has gone through. We went to Otorohanga last week for a week, really cool. stayed with jase's cousin and his family. They're a lot like us and I wish had family down this way like them. Down to earth and real!!!
Completely finished my couch, all parts of it!!! I never want to do that again!!! Talk about too much work!!! But now, I'm onto the curtains. Keep and eye out for the pics.
I nearly died today. I was travelling down the road between Nightcaps and Otautau and just as I was going past the Hundred Line some fuckwit decided he wanted to drive straight through the stop sign and over the main road. I slammed on my brakes with both feet, and everything went in slow motion (you know how it goes). I thought to myself "I'm not gonna stop in time" waited for the impact and got through. Fuck that was lucky!!! I was soooo shakey for the rest of the day. That guy would've been killed had my brakes not been working properly. He was in a little Japper and I was in My fairmont wagon. I've got an airbag and I dare say he wouldn't have had a side airbag (old car and all). So I'm so greatful for life!!!! Close call!!!!
Anyway, Not much more to say at this point in time. really we are in between jobs and it's really daunting.
Catch ya all, keep well
Marce.

Well, we haven't done much. Jase has just been working hard out. We've decided to do some alterations on the house, so we've gone for a mortgage. And by crikey's it's hard to get anywhere when you're self-employed! And we own our house too, which would make you think it would be easier, but no. It seems if you want to get a mortgage for the full amount of a house it's easier! Yet we've been keeping out of debt and it's hard for us! So, my advice to you is to borrow money to buy an asset, because even though it's not your name on the deeds, you can borrow money a lot easier! (BTW I wouldn't recommend doing that, it would be just stressful!).
I have rearranged my gardens so that all the roses are gone! Hello to natives! have planted a large variety of native grasses and cabbage trees. I now have a plan to plant out our whole two acres with natives. As of today, our stock is on the market. Oh yeah, I went to Wellington for a weekend to get my new car (not so new) because jase has the van for the business and I needed a car. We looked all over the country for a V8 Station wagon (ford of course) and found a mint '94 v8 fairmont wagon. She runs a beaut! I'm stoked with it.
Have joined up with Prenzel as an agent to sell their products, I enjoy their products which is why I agreed to sell them. A bit of extra income for me.
Jases mum and dad are away at the moment, they've gone to the north of WA for a few months to fish. I know what you're thinking 'Who would go fishing for that long?' but they're happy and that's all that matters. We're hoping to see them in July. We'll see though, 'cause things have been hectic around here.
Anyway, until next time, catch ya guys later.
