I am one of the very few people who can say they like everything. One song that gets on my nerves is that 'Umbrella' song, merely because it was so overplayed I've got bored of it. At the moment I'm going in for the old rock songs, but I'll give anything a go.
Films
I like watching movies, but i get really distracted in the cinema, so not many people take me! I prefer watching them on dvd at home! I will always love Rocky Horror, and I love the Herbie films (all 5), and all the old classics like Chitty, Great Escape and Sound of Music, and of course Mary Poppins. Daydream Believer scares me. As does Rocky Horror, but that doesn't put me off. Daydream, however, is weird on a whole new scale. It suggests a fun-loving light hearted romcom, yet it's about a strip club! :O
Sports
I'll give most things a try, but with my general lack of fitness combined with my horribly skewed sense of balance I don't normally get very far. I love sailing, thats my main sport, but I haven't been able to go out for a while. I really want to try skiing sometime, and my mum's persuaded me to ask Iain if he'll take me curling so we'll see. I'm maybe going to be working for a watersports activity centre this summer so who knows what I'll be able to this list after that. =]
Scared Of
I'm terrified of so many things. I have recurrent nightmares about hoovers. Hoovers are work of the devil. They sook up things which aren't meant to be sooked up, and the things which need sooked up never are. They stress me out. The one's in my nightmare have teeth. Teeth aren't cool, unless they're shiney and white, and not being used to bite me.
Happiest When
I like being with my friends, and when I'm not with them I'm texting or msning or beboing or facebooking them, or talking to them on the phone. I like going to parties, but not very crazy ones where everyone gets drunk and falls out. Just the ones where people get tipsy and it's funny. I like going to church, and youth group. And of course snuggling up in my jammies with hot chocolate and a good book, in winter.

  • todays date - london update!

    I'm tired! So so so so so tired! I didn't know it was possibly to still be awake when I'm this tired! The past few weeks have been so crazy, but this hostel is much nicer than the last, and the staff are about my age (well only two years older) so we can really have some banter which is nice. And the internet is cheap, and there's lots of people staying here long term which is brilliant - everyone looks out for each other. We're all going round to Robs house tonight, he used to live in the hostel but got a flat so we're having a house warming party! yay! But it'll be an early night for me, I've work tomorrow lol.

    I've taken up fire poi as well, which is basically fire on the end of a chain which you spin around you, its brilliant! I've been busking on south bank and made quite a bit of money - proffessional buskerism here I come!

    Was out at a little pub called 'The Gas Light' last night, £1 shots of Sambuca leads, it turns out, to a very drunken evening. Had my first Jaegar experiance as well - wow! It's like sugar in liquid form - hence my new-found love for it!

    So yeh, I've gotta go shower and get to work.

    Wow! What a busy week it's been! I'm so glad I've been able to get online often, its really nice to see a friendly face sometimes (like yours Ryan - happy now?). Uhmm. I've just found out yesterday that Ive got a job as a chugger (charity mugger) when you attack folk on the streets on behalf of charities, so have to go and get my passport photos taken, so that I can get my ID pass to do it!

    Everyone at the hostel is so nice, and friendly as well. Its a real family atmosphere, with everyone giving good advice and looking out for one another!

    Gotta go cos im in an internet cafe, so Ill update this soon!

    (Oh btw, i was in hospital a few nights ago cos i thought id broken my leg, but luckily it was only sprained! who would have known that london ambulances are actually yellow instead of white - maybe because of all the UV light that they get driving around at night from club to club picking up the drunks!! hehe)

  • My First Day

    Wow!

    I have been in London for a whole day now! This is my first full day, and it's a Sunday so all the shops are closed. I've met up with Tristan and Alex, and I've met loads of people at the hostel. Although there are definetly a few bugs about ()yuck!) it seems pretty ok. The people are really funny, theres some Irish folk, and some drunk folk, and ever a person who's almost a Doctor (in criminology!!!).


    i've been to the arcade and to Wagamamas (woo chopsticks) and to a lovely little ice cream parlour and of course to Camden Market.

    Thanks to Tristan I'm no longer (THAT) ashamed of my ringtone, so feel free to text or call ;)
