- Letterkenny Youth Theatre aims to be an ensemble company which offers opportunities for play and creative and personal development through drama and performance techniques. It offers an insight into aspects of professional theatre through a series of workshops and showcase performances.
Objectives
- To form a core performance ensemble that puts on one show each year.
- To offer an experience of different theatre forms both text-based and physical, including contemporary and classical techniques.
- To offer experience of a cross section of international texts including Irish, European and works from world theatre.
- To offer experience and training in different aspects of theatre including design and stage management.
- To create a group identity and devise a training programme for that group's experience and skills

Have you ever wanted to see yourself on the silver screen?
An exciting opportunity for actors and extras is coming to Donegal this summer.
‘Peadairín na Stoirme’, being made for TG4, is a
drama-documentary about the life & work of Donegal man, Peadar O’Donnell: Ireland’s most feisty revolutionary.
‘Peadairín na Stoirme’ will be a vivid portrayal of the man the Derry Journal once called The Stormy Petrel as he threw himself into every political storm with gusto.
The production company, Magamedia, are casting for roles in the film. There are roles for men, women, boys & girls of all ages. Filming will take place in early July.
Auditions will take place on:
Monday 3rd July at 10 a.m: Óstán An Cúirt, Gweedore, Co.Donegal.
and
Monday 3rd July at 3 pm : Fir Trees Hotel, Dublin Rd., Strabane, Co.Tyrone.
