close About Me
- Me, Myself, and I
- Hi my name’s Elizabeth. I work as a Climate Scientist at the Met Office where I study extreme weather patterns and the impact they have on the planet. So when something like a flood happens, I work out what damage it might have done, and try to figure out the likelihood that it will happen again.
My work even influences government policy! Climate Change is a really important issue right now, and so it feels great knowing that my science and maths background is helping me provide a potential solution. If you are concerned about the environment I can’t think of a better job.
