H all. I managed to get in touch with someone. It looks like, for the moment, this group is no longer meeting up.
Hi. Is this group still active? I tried to find you today at Beanscene but couldn't see anyone.
Hi there. My friend and I are interested in coming along, I just have a few questions, what time do you meet at? If we come along to the June one will we have to have read May's book?
Thank you
What's the book for March?
Just found you guys and would LOVE to join! If ok?? How many are you on each meeting, roughly? And is Beanscene that coffee shop in the corner near river Kelvin, the one with all pillows in the window? (Am trying to remember Woodlands Rd from memory, having moved across town myself...)
Hope to see you soon!
hey Gillian! (And other book groupers!!)
Happy New Year! Sorry I missed the last meeting - I had an interview that week and had far too much studying to do for it to squeeze in reading the book!
Do you have any plans yet for the next book on the list? And will the next meeting be the 5th of Feb?
Hope you all had a good Christmas
L xx
hey sorry for the late notice, im stuck in work and not gonna make the meeting
Have a nice christmas!!

Hi Steve,
Can't reply to your profile as it is private. Feel free to come along. The meeting is always on the first Thursday of every month in Beanscene on Woodlands Road at 5.30pm. A copy of the book will be on the table so you can spot us. (The Jan meeting might not go ahead but it should be back to normal by Feb)
Gillian
Hey sorry for the late notice. I'm not gonna make it again tonight. Going on holiday at 4 in the morn and I'm still trying to sort stuff out!

I've been looking to join a book group and this seems like a good bet. Especially as I see you've just read Invisible Monsters. I'm disappointed to see I've just missed the last meeting but please let me know when the next one is!
hey, i googled a bookgroup and this came up. You are just down the road from me so I might come down for the next book if that's cool and if i don't bail out...
hey sorry i never made it again, i was at a funeral
hope it went well

Hello! Ok....my friend and I are officially muppets! We came along to the Feb meeting but were sitting in the other room in Beanscene the whole time....at half 7 we gave up as didn't see anyone resembling a book group...then when we were outside I looked in and there you all were! It was getting late and we were both starved so thought it best to wait til another meeting and not interupt! Duh! Anyway, hope to see yous in April as next week off to Oslo so cant make the meeting.
Claire
Hey, I've just realised I'm away on a trip for work from the 3rd to the 6th of March, I'm not sure what time I get back on the thursday, but I'll try and make it. Claire
Good to see everyone there tonight
The conversation gave me an idea so I've started us up with a Facebook group, same name, Literati Glasgow
aww no you poor thing, you're right though, they are bad months. I'll look forward to the Feb meeting then
Take care, Claire.
Hi, sorry I wasn't there on Tuesday folks, but I didn't want to share my nasty cold with you all!
Hello! Oh dear, my friend and I turned up at Beanscene last night as hadn't heard that it was cancelled! Let me know when it's on again, cheers, Claire
Hey we should try and reschedule the january meeting for another time, maybe make it about 7pm if people are doing overtime. I'm pretty flexible, apart from tues 15th. Let me know what people think.
