So i thought i should announce that after a long search we have a new singer - Duffy . Id like to welcome him to the band.

“Rock’n Roll!!!” that’s the message of this band. Its been a long, long time since I’ve heard anyone do a really good rock band. Now we all love to listen to the greats like AC/DC and Van Halen but there are times when your in the mood for something more aggressive but not really heavy or death metal, well ladies and gentlemen I have found the band you need to listen to and their name is Lightwork.

Lightwork are a four piece Dublin based band with Craig Larner on vocals and guitar, Steve Grealy on Guitar and backing vocals, Ferdia Mooney on Bass and (more) Backing vocals and Danny Sweeney on Drums.
They have two recorded songs on their bebo page, the first of which I listened to was “12(The Leading Man)”.
This song embraces the lost power of heavy rock and the absolute energy of punk in its choruses , aside somewhat remorseful melodys and a gut-busting guitar solo . The song then takes a turn to end with soft piano and bass, a very nice touch I might add.
The next song is “Try It” which I can honestly say is one of the best “Wayne’s World" style headbanging songs I have ever heard by an unsigned artist.

Yes if you ask me I would most definitely say that when they release their demo upon Ireland do whatever you can to buy it.
