  • Adults only? NBC won't pay for review, so Finland bans 'Little House' for kids

    It is the G-est of G-rated TV series in America, but the DVD version of "Little House on the Prairie" has been banned for the children of Finland, Reuters tells us.

    Reason: NBC's Universal Pictures didn't want to pay state inspectors $2.57 a minute to review and rate the series, which ran from 1974 to 1983. There were 203, 45-minute-long episodes, so that works out to $23,476.95. (Last year, NBC Universal generated $15.4 billion in revenue.)

    Because Universal would not submit to review, the DVD must now carry a sticker stating "Banned for under-18s."

    "Such unchecked material should not be shown to children publicly," said Matti Paloheimo, director at the Finnish Board of Film Classification.

The topics covered in the story included memories of working on "Little House on the Prairie" as well as their current interests and activities.       HEllo Little HOuse yeah i just watched the Episode on When Mr Edwords baby sits when Charles & Caroline go on their 2 honey Moon Was so funny when he had a hard time to watch carrie and eat the Indian Stew cool.
