Rocking loud and hard, with a respectful nod to the blues, Juke Kartel is a charismatic blend of talent, passion and dedication with a downright mischievous streak.
As young teenagers, front man Toby Rand, guitarists Todd Burman and Dale Winters and bassist Tommy Kende first came together to forge what became Juke Kartel. Drummer Jason Pinfold joined the band just last year. Like brothers they finish each other's sentences, bicker, bait and wind each other up, but the fraternal love is self-evident, along with the mutual admiration and respect. "We're more than just band mates. We're a family that chose each other."

How's everyone doing? We are currently working in the studio on the remake of a Levolution song. It's gonna be pretty epic. Then tomorrow we are onset filming a horror movie in which we co-wrote a song...exciting times for JK.<br>

Band member insists on seeing Obama’s birth certificate
“Love 2hrs sleep…en route LAX – Wash D.C. I’ve asked to see Obama’s birth certificate in person.” — Juke Kartel’s lead singer Toby Rand in an obviously jokester Thursday tweet. The LA-based singer and the rest of the band performed at Lani Hay‘s private party Thursday night. Band mate Dale Winters remarked on Twitter, “In Washington D.C. for weekend playing for the WHCA. Weird what things bring being a guitar player!”

Hey Guys, I'm Anita jason Dovey's sister. The guy Toby talks with on myspace if that rings a bell... Seeing as Jason couldn't see you guys tonight at the Gaelic club ( thanx for the phone call) it is his 18th on 17th may ur last gig ( KATOOMBA) . My parents were wondering if u could send us ur email and not tell Jason because my dad wanted to give him a surprise for his bday and thought that coming to see u guys would be a good present for him. Could you give us details how to purchase tickets or if they are at the venue already, or can we have 4 put aside for us???( Dad would pay on the night) Once again please don't tell Jason...
