| Joey Ryan is a young acoustic singer/songwriter from Wexford, Ireland. Beginning his journey into the acoustic side of things in October 07 Joey has progressed further than he imagined in the start and has high hopes for the future. Sticking to his strict 'At least one gig per month' rule means he is continuing to improve and make himself more known. Within 4 months of starting this project he had his debut album under his belt, 'Hope in Razorbeams' and has been selling this privately at gigs. A 9 song CD, all originals spanning from Oct 07 to Jan 08 of songwriting. Even still Joey has many new songs written and continue to write on a frequent basis and always plays a few new songs live including: 'Roads' and 'Further than before'. Joey has been working his way around the south east area and has played at such session nights like the 'One take sessions' in Kilkenny, 'Backstage at the Baily' and the 'Song club sessions' in Wexford. joey you might like to guest this show as you have not enough fan to enter the competition it would be a pity if we did not here you sing as we wont be in wexford or kilkenny again this year and if you have a problem let me know
1 week agothis a non profit makiing group of course it may not look top class but if you spend lot on some top pr company to make it look good than we would not be able to offer as big a share of the door in prize fund .the simple aim of ham is to get alarge audience for young bands and may be find a class act to promote if you feel that there is something wrong with this and you want to perform for some of the other promoter who offer nothing but lots of bands listen to each other . this is why ham was set up .the tangles which we are part of paid €250 to play whelans wexford st and were promised lots but only 17 fan turned up and they came from the tangles by the way there were 8 bands on the show and each of them paid the same. now there was nothing wrong with the pr for this gig but it was a simple rip off .ham has alegal team who will oversee all the prize fund so that it is correct and fair i hope now you may understand what ham aim are and good luck for the future
