Me, Myself, and I
Ciaran Gribbin is Joe Echo!

I am a singer/songwriter who has just started out again with this solo project after being the singer in Leya for nearly 8 years.

During that time with Leya we toured everywhere supporting great bands like Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol, Scissor Sisters, Interpol, Embrace and many more.I'm very proud of what we achieved as a band.

So WHY JOE ECHO?????..... Simple really...

My grandfathers name was Joe, my dogs are called Joey and Jo Jo, my guitar is an EKO, and I have quite a few old echo and delay pedals, so JOE ECHO was born!

2008 had been an amazing year! i have just recently provided support for the script on their irish tour, i am producing the music and providing vocals on the soundtrack of a film called heartless out in 2009 and starring Jim Sturgess! (of "21" fame). i have also written and performed on 2 tracks for Paul Oakenfolds new album due our in 2009!

  • Update from Australia

I've been having a great time on many levels here in Perth Australia. The One movement festival has been a big success story... the gig was amazing and we have made a lot of major progress with the high profile music biz people that have been here... Over the next few weeks i will be announcing a couple of deals that we have worked out from our OZ trip.

Perth is a great city and the people have been great... very friendly and helpful and i will be back here asap. As i write this i am in sunny freemantle getting ready for a headline gig here tonight. I have to say a special word of thanks to the two Aussie musicians that we have been gigging with. Gavin on bass and Brontin on drums have been amazing. Thats the news so far on the trip. Tomorrow we fly to Sydney as we have a couple of gigs there and one in Melbourne with Paulo Nutini. Ill keep ya posted.

    Cheers Cx
