James Blunt is a worldwide record-breaking singer-songwriter, who shot to fame after his debut album, 'Back to Bedlam' reached Number 1 in 18 countries, and the Top 10 in 35. He has sold over 11 million CDs, won two BRIT Awards as well as two MTV Awards, and has also been nominated for five Grammy Awards.

Back to Bedlam was a story of his life and experiences, including (most notably) his time spent in the British Army.

'1973' was released on CD on September 3rd 2007.

His new album, entitled 'All The Lost Souls', was released on the 17th of September 2007. Five of the ten songs on the album were written and tested whilst on tour promoting Back to Bedlam during 2005-2006. The remaining songs were written by James in 2006 whilst spending his summer and winter in Ibiza.

'Same Mistake' (Track #4) and 'Carry You Home' (Track #5) were released on December 3rd 2007 and March 24th 2008, respectively.

    Five new performances have been added to the July Summer Festivals (2008) list. These include three in Spain, one in France and another in Portgugal. More may be on the way, so watch this space.

  • Tour Information, Carry You Home & Live Album

    A new June Iceland Tour has been added for 2008, with one performance. I expect there will be a few more dates added to this in the coming weeks. Watch out for new blog entries containing information on this tour. A new performance in Manila, Philippines has also been added to the April-May Asian Tour for 2008.

    The October-November European Tour for 2008 has been changed to the September-November European Tour, as a performance in Amsterdam, Holland has been added on the 30th of September. Two new dates have also been added, one in Oberhausen, Germany and one in Budapest, Hungary.

    The b-side for the 7" Vinyl release of Carry You Home will be Wisemen, performed in Ibiza!

    Less than 200 copies of the January UK Tour live album remain - the bundles associated with these live albums will be withdrawn from sale in 2 weeks time. If you were planning to purchase a copy of the live album, or pre-order the bundle containing Carry You Home, I suggest you do so now.   • June Iceland Tour (2008)

    Thursday 12th - Laugardalshöllin (Reykjavík, Iceland)

    This seems a bit too short to be a complete tour. James will either be performing at further venues during June, or he will be expanding this tour to include other countries. Either way, I'll post more information here when I get it.
