- Jam FM was a brand new radio station broadcasting from Punchestown Racecourse to Kildare and the surrounding areas on 95.9 FM as part of Jamboree 2008. We brought you the latest entertainment, news, music and outside broadcasts, direct from our purpose built studios. We were truly one of the highlights of this major international event!
We had all the entertainment you needed, with the latest music (hundreds of artists, hundreds of songs), live concerts from some of the biggest names (including Noise Control, The Great Pretenders and The Flaws, to name but a few), along with competitions (iPods, Stereo Systems, Nintendo Wii's), in-studio guests (Musicians and Celebrities) and tons of listener input!
We were live on 95.9 FM, online at www.jamfm.tk, and across Punchestown. We are Jam FM.

The Most Requested Tracks of Jam FM
On the penultimate day of "The Long Lunch" with David O'Keeffe, I played the top three most requested songs on the radio station. With well over 1100 request sheets coming into the studios over the week, these were the most popular tracks.
3rd Most Requested
"All Summer Long" - Kid Rock
2nd Most Requested
"Viva La Vida" - Coldplay
Most Requested Track of Jam FM 2008
"All I Ever Wanted" - Basshunter
Special mention must be given to "The Spirit Lives On" which was recorded specifically for the Jamboree. These tracks were not classed in the usual categories for the station, but if they were, this would have been the 15th Most Requested song.
Two weeks on from Jamboree 2008, we're missing it already!
