Too many young people have been stabbed or killed by knives. Knives are dangerous weapons. Fact. These injuries and deaths are so avoidable and we want to do something to help.

Back in April a group of 18 of us got together to work out a way to combat knife use on the street. We all met for a weekend of creative brainstorming, and advertising and communications agencies were there to help develop our ideas into an advertising campaign which would speak out to other young people. Here you can check out what these ideas became, and see what you can do to make a difference.

  • Spring is here


    We have now finally left the coldest winter there has been in the UK for 30 years and have started the season on spring, it’s about time as well. So far the weather has been promising with only a few light showers but mostly we have seen some sunny bright days. Let’s just hope it stays like this.

      I've always been a big supporter of stopping knife crime. I even helped film and featured in a video in march this year, which was showing reconstructions and displaying the effects of knife crime. It was on itv news and had loads of positive feedback. One of my mates was even put in hospital late last night after being stabbed 17 times all over his body. This has prompted me to begin to set up my own group called 'drop knives save lives' and i will be going around schools and trying to get the sad effects of knife crime into the new generation of kids.
