The 5th annual Midland Songwriter Night will be Leap year Night 2008 at 9pm (That's Friday February 29th!).

We've been bringing music back to the writers of songs since 2004. The annual midland songwriter showcase in Athlone provides a welcome space for local Irish songwriters to share original work in an acoustic setting before an appreciative audience. Every year the show is recorded and released locally as a CD.

Last year's showcase CD will be released at this year's showcase.
