- Hello and welcome to the wonderfull world of Airsoft. Whats Airsoft? To put it simply, paintball with 6mm plastic pellets and no mess. Check out the videos below for a better idea.
Important: Airsoft is legal in the Republic Of Ireland as long as the "guns" muzzle energy is equal to or lower than 1Joule(see below). No license is required for sub 1J "guns" and they can be bought locally or online from Europe, Asia and USA but unfortunately changes in the law in the UK have made the situation unclear as to shipping here. The media have be missreporting regarding Airsoft recently so if you're reading such articles confirm the facts stated.
Note: I am a member of the IAA but in NO way do I or this group represent them. They're site is www.irishairsoft.ie .

You could make a trip to Predator for the morning and hit Sim Com Sports for the afternoon or you could do Drogheda for the morning and Fingal for the afternoon and The Warehouse in the evening!! Make a trip to the largest site in Ireland and head down to G-Tac Galway, anyway you plan it... you get to go out and experience a great days skirmish courtesy of the Airsoft sites this Christmas!
This is by far the most important day in your Airsoft calendar!!
There will be a draw made from all names of those attending any of the sites for a full load out from head to toe, so one lucky git is going to be pimped to the nines!

New Russian Themed Team In Dublin!

We are setting up a modern Russian/Eastern Bloc themed team in the Dublin area and are looking for dedicated Airsoft players regardless of age, kit or experience, although we are going to eventually get Russian BDUs (that will look a lot like this: http://strikehold.files.wordpress.co... ) and Eastern Bloc kit is preferable but not essential.
So, if you fancy breaking the mould of playing in American kit like everyone else in Ireland and want to have a blast while furthering the cause of glorious Mother Russia then give us a shout in this thread or e-mail my profile (EDIT: Or contact me on Boards.ie.
