Basic Plot

The year is 2354, and a new era for humanity has begun. British company Lightstar Corporation is the largest, most powerful multinational company on the planet, with well over a million people working on the ground. While a division of Lightstar, its Space Corporation is the only Space Agency in existence, since the downfall of NASA back in 2059.
Earth has been exploring deep-space for little over 200 years, yet have already befriended one race, and are about to make a clear enemy of another.
The Belfradites, a peaceful race, are at war with the warrior-like Aecies, and when their ships begin disappearing, and their colonies fall to their enemy, they call on Earth for help.
Though inexperienced in interstellar warfare, Lightstar oblige and begin setting up Operation Galactic Saviour. Ingenious, or suicidal, they send only one vessel, the latest, yet untested LSSC Infinity BCSS-01, a Bellona-class-conversion. In a first for Lightstar, Infinity is commanded by two captains; Pilot John Rhodes, and Navigation Specialist Tom Keenan.
Their objectives? To escort a contingent of supply ships to the Belfradite colony of Iona, before heading for their home-world, to help them in their fight. However, within a week, the supply-ships are missing, Capt. Rhodes is in a coma, and the Aecies latest weapon is bearing down them.
