Hi everyone,
I'm here to break the Inertia blog virginity, and introduce to you to the band. There's four of us in this here organisation: Stew (vocals, lyrics and arsepipery), Tom (bass, grimmages and Maiden riffing), Roger (guitar, french accent and forgetting how to play things) and Matt (drums, bodily functions and getting rinsed).
We've been together for about 6 - 8 months now, after many line up changes concerning shit drummers, stupid band names, crummy gigs and egotistical vocalists, it's all finally settled into a solid unit. And we've started writing our own stuff!
We have a whole melting pot of different influences: Iron Maiden, Incubus, Motorhead, Black Sabbath, Green Day, Metallica, The Fratellis, Kings of Leon, Jethro Tull, Blink 182, Pearl Jam, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Foo Fighters, to name but a few, so hopefully there will be some diverse shit as time passes.
Expect to hear from us soon.

The Irish landlord has come over awfully chummy towards us... result. First practice since Download, everyone seems to have recovered and an awesome solo has been inserted into "The Enemy". Adam came along and got very pissed and very bored.

In this week's band news: The Crown re-fits 30 or so lightbulbs and Roger gets his nipple pierced.

I've managed to get early shifts every wednesday at work now, so practice will never be a problem again! I reckon this week we should try and polish off another couple of tunes, Arsepipe/Free From You is pretty much perfect now.
