Indium are a four-piece rock outfit based in the grounds of Emo Court Co. Laois. Formed in March 2007 from the remnants of a former band, and went through various names and line-ups until the arrival of Chris Cullen on skins. At this point, Indium was born.

The band favour a huge range of different styles from grunge to prog to rock to chill out to alternative.Notable songs include "Make Me/Break Me" "Generation" and "Flush". The band are noted for their selection of cover songs also, a few favourites and some underground classics for good measure.

15/9/08 "Sure Id'n Dat De Playdough"
Heh-low dayre!

Substance is back! Our first ever song "Substance" was thrown in the heap after performing it for the first time in The East End many a moon ago (which also happened to be many a moon after it was written) but now it's back and better than ever. And we're keeping the scare-the-shite-outa-ya end of the song.

We're entering 2fm's School Of Rock again this year. That could go either way!

We will have our EP/album all recorded and stuff by Christmas I'd say. Stocking filler, no? Ah I'm only messing. It won't be done.

There are many gigs in the pipeline at the moment but nothing has happened thus far, we may be overrun with gigs shortly but the whole LC BS is gettin' on our tits a little.

Yeah, anyone want more t-shirts let us know so we can get an order together. They'll probably be at our next big gig.

We will be relocating to my shed in Portlaoise once I live in Portlaoise...and have a shed... Shouldn't be too long from now. Oh and once this shed is up and running bands from the locality are welcome to come along for a wee jamín or two (totally at my discretion though).

Woah.. I am tired, this has been my least arsed blog so far... Ah well, take what you're given!

15/8/08 Indium's bringing Sexy Back
MUSE KICKED ASS

Yeah, we saw Muse, best live band around I'd say. And my retinas are still steaming from their light show!

Awesome stuff.

As you can see from the title of this blog Indium are bringing sexy back. While myself and Elliot were in Bulgaria we formulated the idea accidentally. While blowing into half empty drink bottles we stumbled upon the Sexy Back bass line and started to sing. Oh it was a sight to behold. So we will be recording this at some point in the near future. We hope you like it. Oh and instruments will not feature in this recording...

Speaking of recording - the recordings of Future Sounds will be arriving on my doorstep some time next week (courtesy of the mighty Philip Keatley www.bebo.com/HillsidestudiosH ) so we will be putting up some live tracks before you can say poopty peupty pants.

And we will be appearing on the soundtrack to a short film at some point this year or early next year, we have already started work on the trailers etc.

So..yeah

From checking out the band Last Drag (www.bebo.com/the-new-last-drag ), who, by the way, rock the house, I was ahem...somehow inspired to write a monthly blog to let you guys know how we guys are getting on and what we're up to and shitlikethat!

As this isn't even remotely the first of the month I'll only write a little bit.

First of all thanks to all you guys who came out and supported us and the rest of the savage bands at Future Sounds on Saturday. You guys made it the success it was!

Also thanks so much to Leanne Quinn for almost single handedly organising Future Sounds and making it an absolute pleasure to play and to work at. Thanks!

Holy shit those t-shirts went quick! If you guys want any more let us know, oh and do our Tee poll cus we don't wanna bore you guys with the same aul graphic over and over. So let us know if you want a new one or an old one or if anyone is offering a graphic of their own....?

Anyway, we sold 20something t-shirts before we even took to the stage so I presume ye liked the tees!
