Me, Myself, and I
For those unfamiliar with the Immolation style, they play death metal that features back-and-forth trading of blunt force riffs, beast-man growls and unbelievably complex rhythm patterns. They maintain the atmosphere, groove and overall feel of early American death metal, they just do it their own way. “Shadows in the Light” is a little speedier and smoother than its most immediate predecessor, "Harnessing Ruin", but it’s far from a change up.
