"EVERYTHING THAT YOU WANT" TO BE NEXT SINGLE

Due to the positive feedback the band recieved within the industry from releasing debut single "Take Me There." the band have decided to release "Everything That You Want" as the follow up.The single will be remixed for radio and will be due for release later in the year.

Due to popular demand, Ignition single "Take Me There" will now be available to buy in our local record shop, as you've probably seen from all the posters and local press around the town. This was recently organised due to the amount of people wanting the option of buying a physical CD of the single as well as download.
A huge instore promotion has been organised in the local Armagh store for this Mon 7th June.from 11am.By purchasing the physical release, included is an extra song, which is an instrumental version of "Take Me There" along with full inlay and photo!!

IGNITION ON Q AND COOL FM

Ignition will be on Cool Fm this Sunday for an interview and to play two exclusive acoustic tracks from debut album "Silver Sun."The interview will be aired after 8pm.Another radio interview will then follow, with the band heading to Birmingham next tues for the massive Q radio Network to coincide with debut single release "Take Me There" on June 7th.

Ignition head to Warrickshire this Thursday to do a radio interview for "Touch fm" which will go out to 15 stations across the midlands that night.The band will then be back across the water to do an interview for Q radio on 8th june, a day after the single release!!

Ignition: Take Me There (Single)

Ignition are an indie rock band who hail from Northern Ireland, and after putting in the hard graft, now sell out venues, and command a loyal fanbase in their home country. This, along with a selection of local and national radio plays, and a TV appearance means they arrive in the UK, accompanied by a certain amount of hype, but is this something they will live up to as they release their new single, ‘Take Me There’? Only one way to find out!?!

The video begins with a old fashioned countdown clock, which fades away to reveal the three piece band playing in a derelict warehouse space. It’s empty, industrial, and with moonlight streaming through broken windows, very atmospheric. Atmospheric is one key buzz word I would use to describe this bands blend of indie/rock, and as the video progresses, the camera shots/trickery, and performance shots of the band, blend in very well with the style of the song. ‘Take Me There’ is an interesting mix of acoustic and electric guitar, along with drums, layered over which is the nice vocal tones from lead singer Martin. Aside from the odd random shot of a cow, and the band animated which I didn’t really understand, the video delivered, as did the song. I think it’s too early to tell whether they will live up to the hype and success they’ve had in Northern Ireland, but I enjoyed listening to their single, and would certainly like to hear more.

Take Me The

Ignition debut album "Silver Sun" has finally been completed..The album was recorded in three of the UK's most prestigious studios, Olympic Studios London,Abbey Road Studios London and RAK Studios London.
The final week of recording consisted of the band recording next door to some of the UK's biggest bands including, "The Coral" and the "Arctic Monkeys" in RAK Studios, which was an experience in itself.

The album will be released in the summer after the long awaited release of debut single "Take Me There"
