- Hurricane Chaser was formed in late February of 2008, when Seattle area producer Brad Zeffren was for some reason unable to remain behind a mixing console and was forced to get in front of a mic. The band chemistry gelled right away. First onboard was Ben Obee, who proved he can play the upright bass while singing like nobody's business. Derek Pulvino's lyrical guitar playing was a perfect match for the lyrics, and Moises Padilla, well every beat he plays has such great feel that it's hard to go wrong. Nathan Spicer was the last piece in the puzzle, coming on board during the studio sessions. At that point in the process it was obvious that the voodoo in his keyboard playing was the missing ingredient.
"The Map is Not the Territory", the debut release from Hurricane Chaser is in the finishing stages of production and will be available early 2009.
