Carnival Time Around the World

We booked 2 rooms at HostelBookers for 2 nights in Hotel Silver Springs, Kodaikanal starting from 30th April. The booking was confirmed (Booking Confirmation Reference number: 40455-6910719) and the booking amount was deducted from credit card. We have just reached there and the hotel reception desk refuses to give rooms, saying that there is no booking communicated to us by Hostelbookers. What do we do now?

Hi there, I was looking at your hostel booking site and quite a few caught my eye, I was just wondering if there was a certain age requirement for to rent out a room in one of the hostels in dublin by any chance?
