- HK:UK like to be difficult.
Instead of writing songs together like a normal band, brothers Jay and Harry Armstrong had to dispatch them from Hong Kong, back and forth across the internet, to Tim Talbot, John Atkins and Sam George in London.
Instead of signing to a label, thanks to winning a fan-voted competition on award-winning social networking website Slice The Pie, ahead of thousands of other artists, the band mobilised their fan base and raised £15,000 to record their debut album.
Instead of appearing in NME, they featured next to Barack Obama in the internationally published News Week (although Kerrang did accurately call them “A Tornado of Infectious Pop-Rock Melodies).
As a result of Rock Sound magazine asking them to play their first gig at the magazine’s clubnight in London, the brothers upped sticks to London to complete the recording of their debut album, produced by Matt Peel (Kaiser Chiefs, The Pigeon Detectives, The Sunshine Underground).

Bebo is a pain in the A**!!
Blimey,
It's all fine in theory changing the name of your band, until you have to start making new websites all over again! That's when you realise actually you have no idea how Bebo, Myspace, Twitter or anything else actually works! Still, we shall stick with it, and hopefully have sexy looking pages for you guys to admir soon!
Thanks so much for all your support through the name change and for voting on our polls. Update to follow shortly...
