- Heyday are a Belfast based five-piece ensemble. Their music draws influence from acts such as U2 and The Undertones yet manages to create a passion and depth of its own; combining beautiful and unforgettable melodies with a unique, breathless energy.
The band have been together for four years and have been actively honing their craft throughout Ireland having supported acts such as The Futureheads along the way.
Their debut ep entitled "So Much Kinetic" features three tracks, all of which were produced and recorded by Neal Calderwood at Manor Park Studios, during the autumn of 2008.

Auntie Annies Gig, Itunes, New Photos and FREE CD!
Hi peeps
We are playing a headline show at Auntie Annies on the 17th of June and it will be amazingly amazing, we have some new songs lined up for your listening pleasure and we will be giving away a FREE LIVE, ACOUSTIC CD of us playing at the BBC, our new EP "So Much Kinetic" will also be on sale at a reduced rate of £3
All in all it will be an amazing night, one which is not to be missed so we hope to see you there
Btw our new EP is now available on iTUNES and lots of other online music shops so go forth and purchase!
Also I uploaded some new photos of us playing a gig in warren point a few months back, so check them out, there is one were im licking a mop, which is not a good thing but the voices in my head made me do it!

New Song up!
Hi people
A few weeks ago we recorded a four track acoustic session for the BBC so i thought id upload a track from that, its called Move Away.
We are also playing a gig on Sunday the 10th of May in Lavery's Bunker, Belfast for anyone who is interested in coming down, doors open at 9.00pm and its £4.00 in at the door.

BBC Acoustic session
Heyday's pre-recorded acoustic session for ATL will air next monday the 20th of April on BBC Radio Ulster at 7.00pm , during the process of this recording all five members of Heyday including our good friend and camera man Sean Curnsy AKA "Manager" got stuck in a very tiny lift for the guts of half an hour during which time I (Barry) introduced the rest of the band to a new song lol.
Anyway keep checking back on this thing as i plan to upload some footage from that eventfull day
P.s. I turned 22 today and it feels shit, i cant even remember being 20!
