This page is for all the students and friends of Healys Martial Arts(HMA). We have classes in Chos Tae~Kwon~Do, Cardio Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts(MMA), as well as private classes. We had another successful month in October with the South Eastern Championships and the Bray fight night. Well done to everyone who competed. November will be another great month for learning the values of Cho's Tae Kwon Do as I am travelling to the AIMAA world headquarters in Hawaii again to train under Grandmaster Hee Il Cho. There is also a school grading on the 8th of November. I am getting lots of interest in the AIMAA Full Contact World Championships coming early next year so get into training now! Again as always there is plenty to look forward to and keep us busy in the coming months.

Also the location for the 2010 summer camp has been announced, USA Capital Washington D.C. and afterwards trip to train with Master Ameris in Pittsburgh.

Anyone that studies any style of Martial Art is welcome to join or leave a comment on this page. We may have different Arts, but have basically the same reason for training, we all love Martial Art's! Nobody should run down another Art, or someones decision to study it. Investigate other Arts, and take whatever works for you from them, to better yourself. We need to have a solid base style first of all, then add to it as we constantly learn on our journey through life as Martial Artist's. Remember anybody can be taught to kick and punch, but the true spirit of martial art's cannot be measured on a persons physical abilities. A persons character and manner is how you judge a martial artist. A martial artist has true self confidence and no ego.

Hello all,

I hope everyone is ready for our full schedule of classes to start back in September. I look forward to seeing you all again for lots more sweat and hard training. Over the summer we have picked up so many new students both Junior and Senior, you are all welcome to our schools and I can guarantee you are all appreciated. Well done to any students that kept up training with me all over the summer even though your regular schools were closed.
HMA students Diarmuid Heffernan and Stephanie Merrigan had great sucess last month in the ring against some tough opponents, we will have more of the same soon.
I hope to put together another Christmas demo this year but time will be tight as I'm not back from HQ untill December 5th. I will keep everyone informed on this and class changes while i'm away.
