close About Me

Me, Myself, and I
After a brilliant run of summer performances, headlines dates and festivals - Gym Class Heroes return with their single,‘The Queen & I’ set for release digitally on October 22nd and physically on October 29th through Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen. It follows the phenomenal success of ‘Cupid’s Chokehold(Breakfast In America)’ which stayed in the UK Top 10 for more than 8 weeks as well as the most recent Top 10 smash hit ‘Clothes Off’(which still resides in the UK Top 20 singles chart).

Gym Class Heroes are having a brilliant year doing what they love most. Continuing in the tradition of kicking out genre-busting jams that seamlessly meld rap, rock, R&B, and anything else that happens to strike the musically voracious outfit’s fancy. Breaking musical boundaries and changing perceptions of what hip-hop or indie or rock can be, with Gym Class Heroes, what you see isn’t always what you get. Though the overall feel of their album ‘As Cruel As School Children’ is bright and breezy, McCoy’s personal, playful lyrics can often be peeled back to reveal hidden layers of emotion and introspection, notably on songs such as this forthcoming single, The Queen and I.

  • TRAVIS MCCOYS'S 'UNBEATEN TRACK'

Travis is trekking the globe to meet with some of the amazing young people who run HIV prevention projects in Asia and Africa. These projects are supported by MTV's Staying Alive Foundation - the charity that Travis was made ambassador of earlier this year.

Since it launched in 1998, MTV’s award winning Staying Alive campaign is the world’s largest, youth focused, HIV and AIDS prevention campaign. The multi-media campaign consists of documentaries, public service announcements, youth forums and web content produced for young audiences worldwide and available to third party broadcasters rights-free.

The success of Staying Alive is owing to its retained set of core beliefs and values – that change lies in the hands of young people. If the dynamics of the HIV epidemic are really to alter, then it is imperative that this generation be informed and empowered.

Keep track of the epic adventure right here. Get involved. Join the Conversation.
