2008 was a great year for Glasvegas. After winning the NME Radar Award and coming 4th in the BBC Sound of 2008 poll, the band released their self-titled debut album through Columbia Records in September, which reached number 2 in the UK album chart. The album was co-produced by lead singer James Allan and Rich Costey (Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, Muse) and features the singles Geraldine, Daddy’s Gone and forthcoming release Flowers & Football Tops.

Glasvegas are James Allan, Rab Allan, Paul Donoghue and Caroline McKay.

    Hello

    We want to apologise to ALL who came to see us at Coachella. James fell ill early that day and was unable to perform due to exhaustion and dehydration. Thanks for everyones positivity and messages of support. We are really sorry that we disappointed our fans and promise to come back to California in the summer and put on a show that we believe you all deserve.
