Depending on the venue, you may have seen original reggae artist George Wesley leading a ten or fewer piece band or maybe performing his "one man" live looping, midi synth band appropriately called "The Small Axe Orchestra". George has written, produced and recorded his own music for four decades. Through the years George has played the stage with "The Wailers", "Santana", "Black Uhuru" and "Al Jardine", and recorded with Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare, known as the "Riddim Twins" ,as well as Eddie Grant, while touring Jamaica (sponsored by "Red Stripe" beer). Most recently George received an endorsement from "Martin Guitar" of Nazareth, Pa. whom contributed Stings acoustic bass and Tom Petty's 12 string for the recording of "When I'm Next To You, I Feel Lucky", George's 6th album available on his website, http://www.georgewesley.com/. Currently he is doing research and development on Martins newest products like the alternative X "midi" guitar he calls "Martina.
