Hello International Dublin Gay Theatre Festiva Thursday 10th Of September is World Suicide Awareness Day. To mark this event, community groups from across Belfast are participating in an “Walk of Life” to raise awareness of the issue. Groups from across the city are leaving their perspective headquarters to march to City Hall for 6am, to mark this as a Belfast wide event. The event is scheduled at this early time to symbolise travelling through darkness and into light as an expression of hope for those bereaved through suicide. Festival Box Office With just over one week left until the start of Festival 2009 we wish to announce that the Festival Box Office will be open from Saturday for bookings and information. WEDNSDAY: TERRENCE MCNALLY TO SPEAK AT FESTIVAL 24 04 2009 Terrence McNally We are delighted to announce that Multiple Tony and Emmy Award winner, Terrence McNally, one of the greatest living US playwrights and Festival Patron, will be interviewed on stage by IFTA award winning writer Mark O’Halloran (Garage, Adam & Paul, Prosperity) in A Conversation with Terrence McNally.McNally’s controversial Corpus Christi sold out at last year’s Festival as Mark O Halloran’s film Garage took cinema by storm.
