- Hmm...Well...I'm a native of Perth,now living in the sprawling metropolis of Leeds,West Yorkshire(yes,throw all the Yorkshire phrases at me-"eh up lad,goin' down't pub,in't it" etc...I know them all ; )
I studied Orchestral Percussion with a fellow native and now earn a meagre crust teaching drums and,occasionally,guitar and xylophone.This sensible occupation supports my life ambition of becoming a mega Folk star(seriously).I have my own band,the Gary Stewart Band(this name is HONEST and not at all EGOTISTICAL-honestly ; )You can listen to us,leave comments,view photos etc at www.myspace.com/garystewartband.
When not trying to liberate the world with my music,I like going to gigs,drinking(RUM being my poison-Havana Club,Mount Gay,Appleton's,Gosling,but especially Sailor Jerry's-try it if you like Rum-you'll never go back...),going to more gigs and drinking some more ; )

I was in Galway midweek and passed you on the street but wasnt sure so had to check it out. Back at home again now though - dont think I could wrack up any more drinking time, my liver may have given out! Galway was amazing, loving the vibe from the city! Saying that I just had a couple of days in Dublin and its amazing what you can get up to in the city by yourself, and also the randoms who speak to you when you are having dinner yourself!
