- Fiction? maybe. maybe not. you decide.
- Me, Myself, and I
- Is it a romance? Is it a court room drama? Is it a cross-generation saga? Is it fact or fiction?
Rebecca's Law - sojourn of a stolen father, doesn't fit any single category.
The year is 1979. Mitchell discovers on his 20th birthday that the love of his life, Ellen, is pregnant. To them it is straight forward. They are young, but old enough to marry. However, Ellen's parents, the local Catholic adoption agency and an infertile couple on a cattle farm, have other ideas.
The story covers 25 years of heartache, search, disappointment and triumph as Mitchell and Ellen struggle to come to terms with wrongs that can never fully be put right.
This is a novel. Any similarity to persons living or dead is purely deliberate ...

Fuzcapp10/23/07For anyone looking at this book to read, Winnie (comment below) sent this message a few days later ... "I did manage to read the rest and I'm glad I did, I agree there are a lot of truths to your story, and as heart renching as it was, I loved it. Absolutely everything about it. It's definetly made me appreciate what I have today. I take it you did a lot of research, which shows. I will definetly read your second story ... Rebecca's Law was fantastic and I think that you also are a brilliant writer. Kepp up the great work."

I'm only up to the 4th chapter and I can't read the rest. It's so heart renching. Seriously emotional. You made me feel like I was living those heart breaking moments, I stuggled to read the story at one point, it kind of got all blurry. I think that so far you have written a great piece and I hope you keep writing. Your rather talented. You seem to have hit a very good point. With your story line about the "A" word. It's very real and those kind of things did go on the 70's early 80's. Therefore I'm giving you my luv today as I think that it's well deserved. Like I said before keep writing. I'll try my hardest to read the rest. Winnie

aboutely stunning story!! i was supposed to do my essay for my course today but your story was unputdownable!!
by Michelle Goodwin 1/13/08fanastic mix of different aspects; romance, adventure, thriller, drama with a strong plot, full of twists!!
you showed empathy for all the characters involved. well researched on the background of Australian social services and the laws.
it should be published into a book as long as you improve the paragraph structure as its neglected; letting the dialogue override it.
What made you publish it onto bebo? and not published onto paper?
