Finally... here we are...
Well, the last shall be first... right?

I have seen some amazing stuff happen this week by just allowing myself to be open to the still voice within... lives are changing and its exciting to see that God is on the move in people's lives.

A quick thing I want to share and thats encouragement to RESTORE stuff in your lives... See, you can pretend and continually deny that things from the past don't lie in the present... but if you were really honest with yourself, you would find that they do effect you - in the way you walk through life, the way you speak to others... we carry past experiences with us...

We can be FREE of that stuff!!! Our God is a God of restoration, a God who is CONTINUALLY working to restore things to the way they are meant to be, the way HE created them to be. I love that promise in Joel 2:25 "I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten" No experience is wasted, God uses everything for the GOOD of those that love Him and are called according to His purpose (Rom 8:2 .

This is on the surface for me because sipping my coffee at a local cafe to the school I work in, a person associated with the "old Ruth" walked in and suddenly I had the Holy Spirit all over me! I knew I had to approach him and apologise for what had happened in the past - it was a God set up for sure .

Oh, it wasnt easy - it was a business meeting and I had to interrupt... arming myself with prayer, I approached the meeting, asked the effected person to speak with me for a second and was able to firstly, apologise but secondly and most importantly share with him about the change in my life. It was incredible, and I came away on a complete Spirit infected BUZZ.

That's Joel 2:25 in action.

See God wants holy vessels, vessels set aside pure for His use. We need to clean up every area of our lives and be available to Him at any given moment for anything He asks. Man - I am PASSIONATE about being that vessel - 2 Tim 2:21 "If a man cleanses himself, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work"

Be used for NOBLE purposes my brothers and sisters!

Hey all, it's Saucy Shazza rocking up da bebo page! First week of placment down, phew. WHAT AN EYE OPENER!!! O.K so picture this...Me, alone, in a small office quite happyily day dreaming out the window watching, a man walk past...a man with pink clips in his hair...and a skirt...hmm...back to day dreaming...the door opens and in walks the man/woman, he (she?) comes up really close to me and pulls out a card with his (her) name on (which i'm not sure was even an english name and embarrasingly enough i couldn't pronounce it!). By now i'm getting the picture that the person can't actually talk, and i have NO idea what they want (I'm a youthworker for crying out loud, where are the kids). Thankfully the office lady came and took over right about this point, phew. I am ashamed to say that about thirty seconds before that I looked the classic picture of a very green, very new and very sheltered intern. sigh, so much to learn and so much more love needed. These types of things really make me realise how far away from being like Jesus I am. It's easy for me to laugh about now but the reality is, the more I think about it, it's a really sad story. This man had come in to get a food basket, he didn't need my judgement or my "shockedness", he just wanted food, he was already humble enough! I wasn't though, although I have been humbled a little more. A good lesson learnt! Oh and the rest of the week was good!
