In reply to the 1000's of emails I'm recieving about the band, the countless comments on our Myspace and Bebo, yes, Forbidden Son is finished! To keep it short, the rockstar lifestyle wasn't for us. After 3 decades of releasing constant platinum-selling albums, we had enough. We'd like to thank our friends in Led Zeppelin, Metallica and Iron Maiden for asking us to do one last tour with them, but we had to decline. We just couldn't take it anymore, couldn't even walk down a street without getting hounded by avid listeners! And finally, RIP to all of those die-hard fans who took their own lives as a result of no activity from the band, unfortunately, there were far too many casualties to list here, but to Michael Jackson, we didn't know that the thought of Arise not being played live anymore would stop your breathing (Maybe we should've just let him do guest vocals on Bleed, it was his dream).
