Food For Thought is a radio show about vegamism and animal rights! I interview people from vegetarian/animal rights groups and only play music with vegetarians in the band such as greenday, pink, good charlotte, gold finger, Rise Against, Anti Flag, Red hot chili peppers, I could go on forever! I also read out vegan recipes and talk about animal rights issues such as commercial farming practices (AKA factory farming), animal intelligence, the use of wild animals in the circus and the environmental reasons to go vegan. Food For Thought is proudly sponsored by Bean Supreme who make soy foods like tofu and vegetarian sausages (check them out at ya local supermarket, or on www.beansupreme.co.nz ). It's played on Wednesdays at 4:30pm (New Zealand time) on community radio hamilton (106.7 FM for hamilton city, 1206 AM or waikato and www.communityradio.co.nz for people who don't live in waikato!) On the website you can download previous shows or listen live on the official URL!

  • Animal Right/ Vegan T-shirts for sale

    Hi Guys,

    I’ve just started selling T-shirts with animal rights/ vegan slogans. The shirts are made from fair trade organic cotton and are only $25. I’m also making shirts with environmental and anti-war designs.

    Some of the slogans include a silhouette of a cow and the words ‘vegan for life’ on top of the cow, there’s another shirt that says ‘the circus is hell for the animals’ and there’s a more hard-hitting shirt with a silhouette of a cow and blood dripping from the cow with the words ‘meat means murder’

  • 8 Foot Sativa, Open Rescue and Parachute 09

    I was recently at the video release of 8 Foot Sativas new music video 'Sleepwalkers'. Sleepwalkers is a video all about animal rights and 8 Foot Sativa is an all-vegan band.     When I was at their music video release I got an interview with the bands lead vocalist, as well as Deidre Sims from Open Rescue.
    I was also at Parachute 09! Parachute is a 3-day concert and I interviewed the owner of a vegetarian food stall.
