- From Romford in Essex to Sunningdale in Royal Berkshire, and then onto Los Angeles, we have lived "The Luxury of Life" just like the title of our Debut Album.
Known for our exhausting dance routines, sequined stage costumes, Stedman, Doris, Lorraine, Denise and Delroy, we were destined to be Stars.
Throughout the Eighties and early Nineties we entertained fans Worldwide with there grueling tours, TV appearances and spectacular videos.
With the rumor mill in overdrive with speculation of home repossession and bankruptcy, what was to become of “The Royal Family of Pop”? Apart from dedicated fans, the British Public had no idea we Five Star continued performing and recording whilst living in USA.
Now older and wiser, back in the UK apart from Delroy (just for now), will we ever perform as a five piece again?
What would it take for us to fill our Stadiums and Arena’s once more?

Denise Pearson lands lead female role in Thriller Live musical in West end
Five Star singer joins Thriller
Five Star were best known for Rain or Shine and The Slightest Touch
Former Five Star lead vocalist Denise Pearson will make her London West End debut in Thriller - Live, a musical based on the career of Michael Jackson.
She will be joined by Ricko Baird, who choreographed and doubled for Jackson in the You Rock My World video.
Baird has also toured alongside the singer, whose hits include Bad and The Way You Make Me Feel.
The show, which has already toured Germany and Holland, starts in January at London's Lyric Theatre.
Earlier this month open auditions were held to find a young actor to play Jackson on stage.
Five Star was made up of five brothers and sisters
Three teenagers, all aged 13, were selected after they impressed the casting panel by singing the Jackson 5 hit I Want You Back.
The opening performance of the show, which celebrates Jackson's career and features his hits, will take place on 2 January.
The singer himself is not involved in the production.
Essex group Five Star were a family group in the style of the Jacksons, scoring top 10 hits from the mid-80s including Rain or Shine and System Addict.

U were my fav band back in the 80s, saw u play the Kings Hall in Belfast in 87 on ur Ultrabrite tour,was my first ever gig. Please please please come back to play in Belfast, u'll make all us irish fans sooo happy :-)

oh god i remember when i went to belfast to see u you where so cool i love u when i was a kid and get getting my whole family up to do the dance routines so funny now. you should do a come back that would be great
