festival4stars is the UK’s largest singing/dancing talent contest to offer positive written advice to all competitors and is open to all ages.
If you have entered before we look forward to seeing you all again in 2009.

Festival4stars will be visiting 11 regions, incorporating, Scotland, England, Wales & Northern Ireland.
Anyone can enter festival4stars from 3 years old to 73 years old, ten different sections reflecting various singing styles, Musical Theatre, solo & Group dance as well as a ‘That’s Entertainment’ section, there’s sure to be something to suit everyone.

- An all inclusive Package – 4 STARS
*** Winners of "solo" & "Musical Theatre" Working in a recording studios all accommodation & meals paid with professionals in the Music Industry with advice & recording time.
*** "Solo & Group Dance", "Musical Theatre Group", & "Star Group" winners will receive performing opportunities with festival4stars.
*** "Solo Dance" 12 yrs & Under winner will be invited to perform at the National Singing Finals in Glasgow at the Awards Dinner with overnight accommodation and meals for two at the fabulous 5* Radisson SAS Hotel in Glasgow.
*** Overall winners in Star "Group" & "Group Dance" chosen on the day will win a performance at a Park Resorts and a long weekend/break for themselves and up to 6 friends or family for each group member.
*** 2 days all expenses paid in London attending Laine Theatre Arts for winner of 13 - 18 yrs Dance section.

Maggies Cancer is a charity that is close to our hearts
Rotary Clubs in the West of Scotland are busy organising the “Let’s Hear it for Maggie’s” Concert in aid of Maggie’s Cancer Care Centres. The concert will feature the British Champions, the Brian Laurie Accordion Showband & Friends who have travelled extensively in Europe and the US. They will entertain us with a wide selection of foot tapping music from Scottish to Pop, Classical to Songs from the Shows – something for everyone.
District Governor Catherine Stewart would like to encourage as many members of the public to support the concert which will be held in memory of the late Sheila Hughes who was a great ambassador for Maggie’s.
The concert will be held on Saturday 16th May in the Braehead Curling Hall at 7.30pm. Tickets for Adults £10 and Children £7 are available on the ticketline 0844 669 7024 or by email at pmceachran@g-s.co.uk

WALES HEAT!!!!!
The Next Heat for Festival4stars 2009 is in Wales where we will be at The Princess Royal Centre at Port Talbot on Sunday The 17th of May.
So if you can sing or dance we would like to see you down there!

A big well done to Lucie Evans who was Festival4Stars winner in 2007 she has just won the 1Click2Fame talent Contest.
Her Prize was £20'000 cash and £80'000 promotion.

The Something kinda ooh kids all had a great time at the weekend, so did those who went down with them. Competition was excellent with some excellent dancing all round - so glad i wasnt judging!!!
