When it comes to poverty in Africa, we often feel that we haven't got a voice and that we cannot make a difference. However at Abaana we believe passionately in you and your potential to change lives. We also believe that Fast4Africa is a great tool for utilizing that potential.
The concept is simple. Fast for a day and get sponsored to do so. You will be both raising money for people in Africa who are forced to fast through poverty, and also getting a climpse of what they go through everyday.
The official fast date is Thursday 20th December, however you can choose to fast on any date which suits you. If you can't fast for 24 hours for medical reasons, try 12 hours, or run a different sponsored event of your choice.
