- Ewen took over the Alloa shop in September 1982 (named after the original owners lotus europa car) at 41, high street.
In 1989 the shop shared premises with Jill Brachini clothes for 6 months also in the high street.
We then moved to Primrose Street which is well remembered with many of our regulars.
September 1992 was our first arrival in Stirling with a shop in the old arcade, 3years later we then moved to our current location in Friars Street! - Music
- Between our staff every genre of music is loved... We all have our favourites from classical, folk, world, jazz to dance, rock (Heavy, Death, Punk), blues, indie and (good) pop!

- Our resident musical encyclopædia! Quizmeister and all round Expert DJ.

- Going through a wee bit of a folk phase at the moment, still liking rock and punk etc. Only three genres of music not appreciated: Opera, harcore dance + avant-garde jazz (i.e. random plinkty plonkty noises) Likes things neat and tidy.

- Our cheery saturday girl, also our longest suffering member of staff. Madonna Fan who is partial to a bit of dance music.
- James
- Newest member of the team. Resident Avant-Garde, Noize, Doom and Drone freak. His Beard might consume you.
- Alastair
- Returning to the shop after half a year away adventuring Alastair loves most types of music but has a particular fondness for his classic singer/songwriters (Dylan, Young, Waits etc).

Given the lack of recent posts on here, I thought I should ask what you the masses would wish to see from future Europa posts.
Whether I be Alastair espousing the latest fantastic albums through to Taryn or James singing the praises of their favourite folksie/punk/metal/drone releases or even taking the piss out of the usual chart pish, what would you like to read?
it's entirely possible that you even might like to see me disparage absolutely everything I don't agree with!
Or you might even just want us to bitch about the current state of TV and how we could make it better by "removing" Simon Cowell!
Let us know and we shall attempt to accommodate your needs! Is that not after all what the internet is for?
