first week back 2nite after 3 fridays off over easter holidays.
39 escapers showed up and it was good to catch up with y'all again - boy did i miss you over the hols. thanx to everyone who sent me b.day wishes too over the hols.

we had 5 newbies in da house. big hellos to steffan richards, sinead lewis, steffan morris and angharad evans-alford (poser surname eh) aka angie. hope you enjoyed your rookie nite.

it was rhian, sian and nathans birthdays this week (well, missed over easter), but only rhian was around to get her cake - happy birthday girl! we missed giving you bumps so we'll do you nxt week.

this weeks talk was the first in a series of TEN - based on the Ten commandments found in Exodus 20, we're deing them in reverse order (like totp countdown), so this week was on "Do not covet". the talk was about learning to be content with what we have and to learn to value relationships (our family and friends) above stuff and how arguing about stuff is futile. we talked about britney and amy winehouse and how their lives have been affected by stuff.

all in all a top night, save for ruth being absent as she's got an exam next week.

 ggggg so far we got 21 of the crew going to bradford from 6-9th aug. it's gonna be a scream. we only need your consent forms in at this point. the cash will be due in a few months. PLEASE PLEASE can you give us your names and forms as soon as possible so we can plan. remember its gonn be a scream, and at £50 for 4 days away in bradford it's a bargain (thanx to abc leadership for sponsoring the £120 per person total).

quiet, but funpacked nite at abc tonight. Emzzy, Lucas, Shaun Hogan and Natalie were no shows so the place was remarkably quiet......... until Lucas arrived at 9:30 that is!!!

40 people in da house for the evening despite competition from the local rugby club running a battle of the bands competition thing (let us know how it went folks). Highlight of the night was the blow football tournament, absolute scream. If anyone has pics/vids of it please lift em up on your site, or better still email em to moderators to lift up to this site.

Phyl did talk on easter and how Jesus really is alive and wants to be involved in our lives in 2008.

By the end of the night we had 12 names down for alton towers trip on 10th may. We really need more people going to make this work so, please get your names in ASAP.

Only 10 names in for RN08 so far. C'mon guys your going to miss out on a top four days out in the summer if you ain't coming. Check out the pics from last year to see what a ball we had.

REMEMBER: no escape now for three weeks. Next escape will be on 11th April after easter holidays. Have a gr8 time all!

WOW! wot a night at balls and slides thing tongight in swansea.
everyone got totally bruised, sweaty and whacked by the end of the evening.
after we arrived and recovered from jonny takin off his smelly trainers we got straight down em slides. dan took out phyl in the first few minutes on the death slide.
Shaun david, stiffler, matt, and brad thought that chucking balls at point blank range into peoples heads was real fun. trust me it were'nt. bruises showin with most.
the girls were stuffed by part way thru the night so we reckon they went off to do their hair and nails or something cos they weren't running around or shooting down them tubes.

half way thru the nite they got the lazers out and split us into five teams playing in a league.
Ruths team (cheats) one in the end. Josh at the worst score, big fat zero.

10pm we all got back on the bus, raided mcdonalds penllergaer and then got back to abc.
