- Emma Curran is a 22 year old nursing student from Glasgow. In March 2007 she flew to New York to see Snow Patrol. "Just for a laugh" Emma claims, she made a poster which read "Flew From Glasgow Now I'm Skint, You're So Worth It". As she stood in the crowd, holding the poster high, Snow Patrol's frontman, Gary Lightbody, noticed Emma's creation and invited her onstage to duet with him on the track "Set The Fire To The Third Bar" originally performed on the Eyes Open album by Martha Wainwright. Our Glasgow girl began singing at the age of 9 and says that singing was a passion and an "underlying dream". She shone like a star and left the Irish rocker pretty surprised with her vocal talent. Snow Patrol were so impressed with Emma that they plucked her from a crowd at Glasgow's King Tut's to duet again. After this performance record producers approached Emma and she has recorded her first single, Perfect Isolation. Emma is currently recording her debut album.

My first support slot at KING TUT'S!!!
I'm THRILLED to announce that I will be supporting Californian songstress Miranda Lee Richards at King Tut's on Monday the 11th of May. This will be my first "set" at Tut's and to be given this opportunity is amazing. I'm a fan of Tut's...always have been, always will be. To to be invited to play is another event I can cross off my list (to headline in Tut's, visit Oz and purchase a Louis Vuitton bag are also "up there"
