| Just an ordinary guy, in an ordinary world, doing ordinary things, but thank God the people that mean something to me aren't ordinary. I'm lucky to have a great family and circle of friends. I have a wide variety of interests, some that come and go, but I always like to be active. Whether it's painting, writing,golf,football and even breeding birds I try to give it my best shot. I have just completed 21 years in the army, where I work in the kitchen, and have no immediate plans of leaving just yet. Cooking has always been a thing I enjoyed but I regret never pushing myself enough to obtain qualifications. Still it doesn't stop me enjoying the job.
As I said above my family are great and since cutting the apron strings I have settled down with a pen pal I met twelve years ago. We have two great children who mean the world to me. I will leave it at that for the moment but may come back and add on if something of interest comes to mind. I only took up painting a few years ago and have progressed from watercolours to oils. Great hobby and very relaxing. Anybody can do it. I suggest looking out for Frank Clarkes videos and books in Easons. As regards writing, well I have about 6 books unfinished but one day would love to see even one in print and on a shop shelf. They vary from comedy to murder.I was also a Budgerigar (Budgie) breeder, but a wasted bulb put a stop to that for the moment. It went off during the night and all 137 birds died due to flying into walls and each other with the fright.Some of my birds are featured amongst my photos. | |
