  • On Bebo Blogs

    I have come to the conclusion that Bebo blogs are underused as a blogging tool and since I was but an adolescent in the midst of my own personal reformation, I have wanted to write about everything and anything.

    Livejournal turned into some sort of emo-stereotype garbage with just loads of folk cyber-crying about how bad life was, which is probably a large part of why those same folk abandoned it when it got boring to keep reading that whatshisname got dumped by whatshername after kissing whatshernames pal bleh. With Bebo I have the chance to start anew and have a blog which actually discusses stuff, maybe not in any great depth, maybe in alarming levels of detail, maybe serious, maybe jovial, maybe personal.

    I suppose the beauty of the internet lies in the fact we don't need any more than a 12 month contract to a capitalist and a couple of quid a month to publish our thoughts to something with the potential to be seen by _tens_ of people.

    I didn't sleep last night thanks to the pressure of essay submission, and that is perhaps the reason I want to use this outlet to vent. That and the feeling that blogs are inherently emo and I've literally drowned myself in Death Cab for the past few days.

    About 70% of Transatlanticism is just pure musical gold, particularly the title track and the final track, "A Lack of Color". They're American so I'll settle for the American spelling of color...
