After seven years supporting the very best unsigned and unseen young
musicians, Diesel-U-Music kick off their most exciting and innovative year
yet with the launch of Diesel-U-Music Radio.
Diesel-U-Music Radio will be broadcasting from 4th to the 30th May, from its
base at The Amersham Arms in New Cross. The station will be on air 24 hours
a day and available locally on FM radio and globally via the internet.
Driven by the same spirit of innovation, discovery and creativity that has
made Diesel-U-Music such a force to be reckoned with, D-U-M Radio will be
devoted to all that is great about music and the art, design, fashion and
culture that surround it. Expect a wealth of original programming from
presenters, artists, bloggers and journalists you have heard of, as well as
from a host of talented young people taking to the airwaves for the first
time: whether 5-minute audio diaries, in-depth documentaries, or live
sessions from The Amersham Arms. D-U-M Radio will be reaching out to the
next generation of creative young people and filling the airwaves with
passion, personality and attitude.
D-U-M Radio will be making the most of it's HQ at The Amersham Arms with a
series of live events that will encourage listeners to come down and be part
of the action. With artists including The Klaxons, Simian Mobile Disco,
Florence & The Machine, Benga, The Little Ones, Riton and past D-U-M Award
winners The Clik Clik already confirmed to be involved, and many more
talented individuals coming on board by the day, your radio isn't going to
leave the D-U-M frequency in May.
A very special live Earwax show will be broadcast on Thursday 15th May from 20:00 to 22:00, expect live studio guests and the usual Rocklands news & anthems.
