| I'm an unsigned, London based, singer/songwriter, I play mainly rock/blues/folk music.I grew up listening to an eclectic mix of eastern and western music, from Bhangra beats to Delta Blues. I fell in love with Otis Redding's voice & Stax records at the age of 14. At 15, John Lee Hooker started me into my journey thru the blues. The British blues invasion in the 60's was a big influence on me, especially for the fact that those bands got the world to recognize the genius of the likes of Muddy Waters and Howlin' wolf. On the eastern side, I've grown up hearing great singers such as Jagjit Singh, Alam Lohar, Nusrat Fateh Ali Kahn & Gurdas Maan.I've always loved singing & always felt connected to something special when I sing, it's a feeling you can't really get from anywhere else. Singing & playing rhythm guitar has led me into songwriting. For me, songs are expression, the thoughts and feelings of someone experiencing life.
