  The Dublin Cultural Institute has a team of highly professional teachers with rich EFL experience in different areas. The school always tries to meet the students’ individual needs. Our programs are flexible enough for students to be moved according to there rather than rigidly kept in one level. All English Language Programmes have a limited number of places.
  
  Course Description
  
  At the Institute we teach the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing using methods based on current theories and research for learning and teaching English. Classroom work is interactive and teaching is enhanced by the use of audio, video and chosen materials. In each module language is presented and practiced, and students are assessed before progressing to the higher level.

  Examination Preparation Courses
  
  We feel that most of our students want to demonstrate their level of English through an internationally recognised EFL qualification. That is why we offer a range of international EFL examinations for all levels from pre-intermediate to proficiency, and preparation courses for the Cambridge Examinations and IELTS, scheduled regularly throughout the year.
  
  IELTS
  
  The International English Language Testing System examination is recognised by higher education institutions throughout the world as a measure of competence to study in the medium of English. The examination is offered each month, and therefore you can take it when you feel ready.
  
  The programme aims to develop an understanding of the structure and content of the IELTS exam, to teach strategies and develop techniques so that students can achieve the best possible performance in their exam. It covers the four sections of the test: listening, reading, writing and the interview.
  
  
  Cambridge
  
  Choosing on of these courses you will be introduced to the format and content of the chosen examination you want to take. You will develop the necessary exam techniques to be able to pass successfully.
  
  We prepare students for:
  FCE First Certificate Examination
  CAE Advanced Certificate Examination
  CPE Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English
  
  E.C.D.L. COURSE
  
  This course is intended for students who wish to become proficient in the use of information technology and the standard software packages, such as Microsoft Office. This computer course will prepare students to complete all seven modules of the European Computer Driving Licence.
