Took my car to the vehicle testing centre and found out it needs a lot of rust repaired which is going to cost about $700. Booked it in at the Vehicle Care Centre on Thursday and still haven't heard back from them. I think I am going to buy a cover for it seeing as it lives outside in the rain.

Have changed the name of my mod from Survival to Half-Life 2: Simulator. Changed the player model and got the animations to play properly, had to borrow code from Deathmatch to fix them. Not all the animations are available so there needs to be some work done to get it working properly. I am going to implement a view bob function in the mean time because that should not take as long.

I have turned off braking assistance in SBK 08 and am getting the hang of the brakes slowly. Had a terrible first race at Assen. Fell off about five times, damaged the bike on the second to last lap and wasn't able to finish the race.

Got an s-video cable so I can record my computer display onto camera. I am now doing full races in SBK, using the replay until it cuts off and appending the race footage from my perspective. Raced at Valencia and came first twice. I have uploaded the first race and going to start uploading the second race tonight. Turned off braking assistance and am just getting used to it now. I have to get the rear brake just right otherwise the bike drifts because the front brake is on too hard or I lock the rear wheel because the rear brake is too hard.

Spent all week trying to fix the weapon lowering and iron sight problems in The Rising but I am no closer to a solution. I am just going to substitute basic animation transitions for now because I need to get some course work finished.

Have added a few new features to Survival. Namely weapon lowering when sprinting, view bobbing and calculating weapon accuracy based on velocity. The view bobbing was too slow because I lowered the movement speeds so I just divided the values by two and now it looks fine. The weapon accuracy involves getting the current speed of the player and multiplying the shot accuracy by that value. I am having a little trouble getting the shotgun to comply with my wishes. The crossbow reloads two bolts at a time for some reason so I have to fix that aswell.

Finished my Mastermind assignment and handed it in on Monday.

Raced at Phillip Island on SBK, Haga fell off in front of me at the start both times and I went flying. Had a highside and got injured on the first lap of the first race. Have uploaded the videos to my dailymotion page:

Went to St Lukes shopping centre yesterday and bought the SBK 05 review. Troy Corser won the championship and there was a huge pile up on the last race of the season.

Have fixed a few things in Survival, namely the tank gun wasn't firing any bullets. I found out it's because of the new Episode One code so I removed it and it works fine now. Fixed the player's stamina so it takes forty seconds to become exhausted when sprinting and 200 seconds to recouperate. The player's weapons were doing too much damage too so I have fixed it and now they do the same as the enemies.
