doves band here, just to keep you in the picture,we're
intensively recording all through late jan/feb at our
studio, five new songs on this latest session
(to add tothe last sessions)
Things really starting to take shape & moving
along nicely, we want to record a lot of songs to pick
from for this one, can't tell you when it'll be finished
but hopefully wont be too long. If there's anymore news you'll be
first to know.
Anyway thanks again for all your kind words of
encouragement & patience & sticking with us, very much
appreciated by us all.

Mercury Music Prize 2009....I just saw the 12 shortlisted nominations and I have to say,honestly what a lame and uninspiring choice this year,not what I would have picked! Where are Doves for goodness sake? Arty farty wind bags what do they know about good music?
Trust me to get too drunk and miss you at T in the Park, still managed to hear you in the campsite so all was not lost
Hopefully next year, please please please
