Dirty Rose <dirtyrosemusic>


Dirty Rose formed early 2007 by brothers Alan and Chris Clarkson. The two later recruited the crazy tattooed rocker Taz and the lineup was complete. Since then Dirty Rose have played more than 50 gigs across Scotland.

The band are here to bring metal back!!!

  • Room Thirteen Review

    You can really hear the classic metal influences on this demo from Scottish Trio Dirty Rose as Iron Maiden go head to head with Metallica.

    ‘No Way Back’ is a good opener; a solid tune with a nice melody supported by fuzzy, rumbling bass lines, heavy drums and decent, but not too predictable chunky riffs. ‘Insanity’ chugs along at a slightly slower but still insistent pace, it’s pretty similar to the first track but with some nice soloing from the guitar. ‘Waiting To Die’ takes things up a notch with a slightly heavier wall of noise and a stop/start rhythm that adds some welcome variety to the drums.

    Overall this is a solid demo with some more than decent tunes that would definitely benefit from slightly better production but there’s definitely potential here. (23/05/2008)
